Count down begins we leave in 2 days!

So we leave in 2 days. We have a lot to do, not that we are really ready to leave. We have been delayed 10 days from our original time line of leaviing. Today we are moving the last of the items out of the house. Packing the motorhome, and buy a few last minute items that have to be bought. Something about wheel chocks are needed is a must to buy. also on the must to buy is a foldable cat/dog carrier for the 20 pound cat, that hates to ride in the car, but will become a traveling cat. (weither he likes it or not). so we will see how that goes. I am sure there will be blogs in the furture coming about the traveling cat that hates car rides.

We are ready to leave and ready to go, just have to get a few more things in order! before we can.

Last weekend before we leave

Well we are on the last big push before we leave! We have a lot to do and are running out of time to do everything.
We are going to be traveling with our cat, of 10 years, I seem to be spending more time worrying about him and buying him things, almost like having a little child to worry about. Storm Chaser, the cat is getting used to the RV and he is becoming leashed trained. Well sort of, that is a whole new story.
So as we pack, and go through things, seeing old pictures, and boxing up memories, I remind myself that we are going to make new memories, and that is what I am looking forward to the most.

well still getting ready to go. Bought a new road map and atlas! Looking forward to get on the road. Mapping where to go first and how to get there.

I can blog directly from my phone now!

So I downloaded the blogger app for my phone to make it easier to blog, via the phone. I think this is much easier than sending a text message to blog, you only get so many characters when you do that. so playing with the app, to see how it all works...

Getting Ready to leave

So we have purchased an RV and are getting ready to hit the open road. We are going to travel and look for work as we go. Looking forward to our new adventure and a new chapter in our lives.

Kids are grown and have started their new lives. So we are starting our new one also.

We leave in a very short amount of time. looking forward to it.

This blog will be about our travels and the ups and downs of going from having a house for 20 years, being empty nesters, adjusting to living in a small space with my husband. all in all it will be an adventure.
